WELCOME TO THE SUNDIAL PRESS About The Sundial Press We are an independent publishing house dedicated to introducing original and distinctive literature to a wide readership. We sell primarily through mail order and selected shops. Our initial focus has been rescuing works long out of print from an undeserved oblivion and we have a distinguished shortlist of future titles. Our current publication is a new work of exciting fiction: RED DIE: A Dorset Mystery by ROGER NORMAN:
"I thoroughly enjoyed RED DIE, and moreover I also admired its originality and strong sense of place. I thought the opening account of the attack from the trenches very fine (and witheringly scornful) and gave the subsequent story added depth. ... I also admired the unobtrusive sense of ‘period’ and the unschematic use of the supernatural ..." - Dr Glen Cavaliero. Fellow Commoner of St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge
"I have just been reading Roger Norman's 'Red Die'. I want to give him a salut on my bass tuba. Nobody writes like this anymore. It's like something by Thomas Hardy found in an attic." - Jan Lööf, Sweden (More readers' comments here.) |
